We are so excited about this Trail Ride! The RVR club and wranglers are hard at work on trails and are looking forward to seeing all you patriotic cowgirls and your faithful steeds in the woods this fall! Our Saturday evening’s theme is America’s Birthday - Celebrating 250 Years! We look forward to seeing the creativity in your patriotic outfits/costumes! We will only be accepting 100 riders for this Trail Ride, so hurry and sign up! Once we receive your registration and payment, we will reserve your spot and send you a confirmation letter. The ride will be in the mountains on the Mogollon Rim Ranger District. The exact location will be sent with our August 1 email.

Included with ride fee:

• A ride packet for you to pick up on Wednesday the 16th, containing an event schedule, ride times and descriptions, this year’s ride pin, a small ride gift, and your door prize ticket (for after Thursday and Friday dinners).
• Wrangler-led trail rides Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
• Community horse watering stations (where you can leave a personal container to be filled).
• Catered dinner on Friday and Saturday evening– main course, sides, and dessert (see below for info on Thursday night potluck).
• Fun entertainment each evening, Craft Sale Friday afternoon, Patriotic Party Saturday night!
• Anniversary pins (indicating total years attendance) for returning attendees.
• Door prizes after dinner on Thursday and Friday, so bring your door prize ticket!
• Main dinner tent with tables, chairs, power supply for Thursday potluck, a sound system with music, and good lighting so you can see all the fun things we have in store!
• Soda & water (for humans!) Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
• Portable toilets (porta pots – you don’t have to wander into the woods!) and a couple of hand wash stations near the tent.

Available for purchase:

• Massage Therapist - fee paid at time of service.
• T-shirts and other ride merchandise– can be ordered prior to ride to be picked up at registration on Wednesday, Sept. 16th.
• Ride apparel will be for sale during registration with extremely limited sizes and styles (it’s best to pre-order).
• Raffle baskets – Your group may wish to donate a basket (completely optional). Funds raised will support our charities. Tickets will be sold on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday before the raffle on Saturday evening.

For you to bring:

• Yourself & your horse/mule/donkey (only one per paid rider).
• Foot protection for your animal – shoes or boots, there will be some rocky areas.
• Camping supplies & somewhere to sleep.
• Hay, feed, and basic medical supplies for your horse.
• Highline, portable panels, or solar electric fence for your horse.
• Breakfast to eat in your camp.
• A sack lunch to take on the trail each day (make sure you bring saddle bags to pack it in!).
• Your own alcohol for the evening entertainment (soda and water provided by RVR).
• A dish for Thursday’s potluck –details below.
• Dogs are allowed at your own risk, butno dogs are allowed in the tent or on the trail rides.

*If you bring your dogs they need to remain in your own camp- protect them and your neighbors by keeping your dog contained. Also, please pick up their poo!!!

• Cash/check for ride merchandise, craft sale, silent auction, and raffle tickets.

Thursday Potluck!

On Thursday night we will all share in a potluck at the main tent! Please bring a dish to share. Let’s shoot for a theme of traditional American comfort food.  We will provide power outlets, plates, and utensils, bring your favorite dish!

Registration

The RVR Trail Ride is an all-women’s ride. All participants must be at least 18 years old.

The ride fee is $275. Sign up by clicking on the registration link below. Fill out the registration form and payment (included with the registration form) and press the submit button. When making payment please clarify who the payment is for if the names on the payment and registration differ. Your spot on the ride will be confirmed when we receive both the registration form and your payment. You will receive a confirmation email and the T-Shirt order form within a few days so watch your email. We only have 100 ride spots available so don’t wait to sign up. Once we are full, we will add you to a waitlist. You will be notified if you are placed on the wait list and then if a spot becomes available, we will contact you to see if you would like to be moved onto the ride list.

CANCELLATIONS

All cancellations must be made by August 15, 2026, for a refund less $15.00 handling fee. There will be NO REFUNDS after that date.
